So, what's your strategy at this point? Issue a retraction for your accusation that a mod messed things up or thank them profusely for correcting the vandalism inflicted on your avatar? Personally, I think I'd opt for thanking them for addressing a dangerous conspiracy and call it a day. A retraction would be messy and have no net benefit for you. A conspiracy foiled would be so much more fun.
