That is the coach that needs to be focused hard on in the off-season.

McDonald is gone. No chance he stays now. He can be a WR coach in the SEC and make a lot more money.

So, move Adam to WR coach and bring in a legit OL coach. Someone with experience coaching the position b/c that unit has regressed significantly.

I truly don't think this power run style everyone wants will work with this OL.

Adam is not P5 material and I say clean house offensively except for Lester.

I have no idea how you can come to this conclusion given our sack #'s and run game this season. Last game was a debacle - but it wasn't on the Oline.

People have had it out for Adams since the moment he got hired.

3rd in the country in sacks allowed.

Doubt we're #3 for long with Austin Wilson coming in behind center.

Sacks allowed isn't't the only measure for an OL coach. Blocking in the red zone and stupid mistakes resulting in loss TD's are a few others.
I am certain there are better OL coaches available than Adam.

Hunt 's running ability is move responsible for the sac numbers than the OL. They have been a disappointment on run blacking.

actually hunt caused as many sacks and bad throws as he saved.. even the play he got hurt on, he should have just thrown it away after he panicked and ran into trouble.

Watch the line generate a push. The run game hasn't been good this season, not sure what you are saying. Their pass blocking was the best it had been all year against Louisville, partially b/c of the below.

Louisville's game plan was to keep Hunt in the pocket, so there rush focused more on contain.

I don't have it out for anyone, which I said he needed to be reassigned, not fired...

My fault. I told everyone that I don't trust men with two first names. My bad everyone.

If McDonald leaves Id like to see us hire a special teams coach. Give WR to Acosta.

I thought the line had been a positive this year. Run blocking needs work but 39th in country in rush yards is one of our best rankings compared to the rest of where we stack up.

Clearly red zone is an issue but when you look at it, 3 or 4 dropped td passes and few bad throws that's not in the O line. Hunt does have 5 rushing tds.

The optimistic in me foresees better play calling allowing the line to make better blocks and score more TDs.

LGO!

Actually except for last week the run game has been very good this season. I think you guys see what you want to see and not what's actually happening. I will also say that this season has been the best pass blocking I have ever seen at SU I've been watching for 40+ years. Even against 2 of the top ten defenses in the nation Hunt had all day back there. If you didn't see that then your a blind man.

Well sure. There are always better coaches available. Thats like buying a car and thinking "I bet there is a better deal somewhere in the world"...

I'm not saying the mistakes aren't an issue - procedural penalties are not good. Red zone offense has been awful all the way around.

But Hunt's had time to throw and we've been able to run the ball (Ville's D is top 5, so...) - there is just not enough negative to justify any comment about Adam's ability to coach. It makes people calling for his head look silly - and like they have a bone to pick with the guy for no reason.
