OL/DL kyle knapp senior highlights

Thanks for the film. Caveats about quality of competition notwithstanding, Knapp looks like the total package, at least against the run. Powerful, keeps legs churning, displayed the ability to both seal inside and to pull/lead block to the outside. Looks like he's been coached well.

Doesn't take much imagination to picture him as a starter after his RS.

For ease. Like this recruit a lot. Nice tape.

Watching that, have to think that Knapp is going to join in the line of Pugh, Hickey, and perhaps Curtis (had he not gotten hurt in camp) as Marrone favorites.

You left out Trudo...

I'm going to hold off putting Trudo in that group for now. I certainly like him, but as we continue to add fresh faces to the competition, I am curious to see who ends up as the odd men out. Now that Hay moves on, Chibane and Mac hold top spots on the board's 13 Most Wanted (to ride the bench) List, yet they are experienced and that is quite important to Marrone. So far it has been hard for Coach to overlook experience on the line, and while I believe Hickey would have snapped that trend, sadly it didn't happen. If Trudo has Doug's eye as much as the other guys I mentioned, he should be involved in a completely fair competition for at least one of those two spots. I must admit though, I probably should have included Mac in my list of lineman Doug has loved since before they came in... but it would have depressed me to do so.

Trudo got hurt in camp. Good chance he'll be starting next year, staff is high on him.

Chibane is a weaker link that the Mac Attack, IMO. I would not mind seeing both replaced next year
