What I can't do is just give them advice in an attempt to keep them closer to home. Don't feel that's legitimate.

That's advice I would give to all parents. No parent wants to be separated from their kid, if even for a time. But I would have to have better reasons to not do something than "it's just so far." According to CuseLegacy geographic distance is not the case here. But is it a case of the family still just wanting Tyran to do something more familiar or closer to "home?" I'm not sure.
