Class of 2020 OLB Mitchell Melton (MD) Portal from Ohio State

Must be even more thrilled to avoid classes altogether.

Doesn’t fit the multi-year eligibility that Fran wants, unless they think he can step right in after being stuck on the bench at OSU. Definitely has the size and had a couple of sacks in very limited playing time

He is listed at 6'4 261 these days. Pretty sure he is too big to play LB for us.

I would guess he would be a replacement for Diggs.

Same HS as incoming frosh Gavin Crawford.

neither does the WR from rutgers. Melton is now a DE and has battled injuries most of his career.
