Hawley (Pa.) Wallenpaupack Class of 2016 linebacker
Rashawn Battle took in Penn State's White Out on Saturday. Though the Nittany Lions came up short against Ohio State, he still appreciated the experience.
"It was a great game," he said on Sunday. "[The atmosphere] was one of the best in college football. It was insane."
Battle has a scholarship offer from Rutgers in hand and he's hoping to gain another from Syracuse when he visits there next. He's also receiving interest from Boston College, Missouri, Pittsburgh, Virginia and West Virginia.
He said that Penn State was the first school to show interest in him. He previously visited for the spring game in April and saw the Nittany Lions win at Rutgers earlier this year.
"They like my film," he said. "I get a lot of mail from them."
Battle will likely head down to Rutgers again next weekend when the Scarlet Knights host Wisconsin.
This season, the 6-foot-2, 220-pound prospect has recorded 31 tackles, 2.5 sacks and two tackles for loss for the 5-4 Buckhorns.
