Thank you so much for posting this.

There is something about black and white photos of bygone eras that stirs my soul.

There is the Ernie Davis photo (#20) that I had never seen before.

The guy getting carried out on a stretcher (#7) is classic as is the guy with missing teeth grinning in his leather helmet (#14).

No one did it better than Life Magazine. Makes me want to buy up all of their past editions.

Love Life Magazine. I would have ahdbetter grades if I didn't spent so many afternoons in Byrd Library looking through the old periodicals. They had a big spread on the Cotton Bowl in 1960.
