Threads like this remind us of why we're SU fans and the moments that set the hook and motivated us to internalize the passion we have for sports. For me that game was the win over #1 Nebraska. My first games were at Archbold and my physics lab was under the stands. I moved to Ithaca in 1978 and didn't get back until the 80's. In 1984, my brother was working for Remington Arms and involved in the Remington employees club. They had season tickets and he was able to get tickets to the Nebraska game. I shifted from a casual fan to a dedicated one during that game. We were among those on the field after the game, and helped stop traffic in the street. We were better in later years, but that game was magic. I've been fortunate to be at some memorable games, but none that affected me more than Nebraska.
