Ole Miss beats Bama

In the old BCS system Alabama was allowed to lose and still make the title game. In the new system they could lose a 2nd game and the committee will still give them the #4 spot.

Four hour game. I was too exhausted to watch the second half. My loss. The defensive tackle for Ole Miss is no joke. What an athletic talent for 300 lbs. Big win for Mississippi.

SEC champion unless they have 3 losses will be a playoff team. Yesterday was the Ole Miss 2013 recruiting classes coming out party. Ole Miss vs. LSU in Baton Rouge is probably going to decide the SEC West. Auburn/Arkansas look overrated. Texas A&M/Alabama could be contenders for the West.

Right now, however, there doesn't seem to be a dominant team or two out there. OSU still No.1 by default, then TCU, ND, then Ole Miss...for now.

Wanna hear something hilarious? Talk down here just prior to the beginning of the season was that Auburn would be the SEC west champion, and that Arkansas would challenge. I figured it'd be either LSU or Ole Miss.

It's too early to worry about such things at this time. Last year at this time, most everyone was saying the Buckeyes had no chance for the CFP.
