And it sucks, because Syracuse should be better.

Hope the team can get behind Battle's energy next year. Hope Thompson can leverage his hoop IQ and "get" the zone. Hope we can find a 5th-year playmaker PG. And hope with the end of recruiting restrictions we can stockpile for the classes of '18-'20.

Fugly year. Massively disappointing year. Hope a leader emerges in the offseason to make sure we don't see another one of these again.

Beat Iowa State, ladies.

They werent better as a team. Terence Davis was better. At one point he jacked one up with 3 hands in his face and made it insteaf of finding the open man

Anyone who thinks Syracuse was the better team today who played today needs a trip to WarbyParker.com.

It's frustrating as that is to admit, there's a reason why we have losses to teams like St Johns, UCONN, Georgetown...

I sho darn believe that down in Mississippi tonight dey be singin "Jimmy crack corn"

I do think Syracuse played better and found open man more often. Difference was they had a guy shoot lights out for 3. And we couldnt get an open look to fall for the longest stretch

someone said pregame that they wanted to be there and we didn't. hope that's not true.

Ole Miss played better, for sure. They weren't the better team, though. They would never match that 3-point shooting performance again, even against a scarecrow defense.

LOL Why? No one at syracuse wanted to be there. Why should the fans be any different?

Do you work for warby parker or something? I would have gone with Lenscrafters.

The first half was marred by both teams throwing the ball away to each other. The end of the second half featured a very exciting trading of threes back and forth until a timeout by the Ole Miss coach ... after which we fell apart.

Neither team played lights out. The second half had the character of a schoolyard ball game, seemed like little discipline on either end of the court.

Incredible shooting and second-chance points from rebounds indicates one played better than the other.

Hope Thompson stops sulking after bad plays.

They wanted the game more, plain and simple, they are a bad team bball team, if we played with intensity for 40 min, we win going away.

NO. Stop saying moronic nonsense like that.
You show your ignorance in posts like this.
Ole Miss isn't any more "bad" than we were this season.

It wasn't a lack of "want-to" (Ugh! A GERG-ism :vomit:) -

It was us missing wide-open shots we normally make, vs them having a guy go to Plaid from 3.

If either of those things wasn't the case, we win that game.
We could overcome one of those issues, not both.
