plays that had nothing to do with play calling or getting beat. just mental prep mistakes.. the sacks skewed the running game that was actually functional at times.. but if every pass has to be a 2 step drop your are really limited in play calling. still you dont make those mistakes and we probably get 3 shots at FGs and then anything can happen

It would be interesting to compare this to teams that win. Do all teams have bad plays with the good teams making up for them by making good plays at other times while bad teams just fail to make the good plays to tip the balance?

Worst game of Servais’ career maybe? They had to have Elmore helping him double the DEnd in the 2nd half.

I think Elmore might very well be playing the best along the OLine.

Syracuse needs to go find an Alist OLine coach and I’m starting to think an AList WR coach.

Cav is responsible for a lot of the solid OL recruits we have coming in. Can’t sack him so quickly.

Those guys should pay of in 2-3 years? Might not have that time to wait.

The problems go beyond the coach. I'm thinking about creating a thread to inspire discussion.

I’m not sure about that. Seems like everyone else has a more competent Oline. Surely not every kid on our line is less talented. Even wakes oline gives the guy time.

They're just not good enough and can't play at this level. They need to get hungry JuCo players that can fill a need while the younger guys develop. Dino's tenure rests on what the O line is capable of. If he's out as coach after next season, it'll be of his own doing.
