Ditto for smaller guards who can penetrate or shoot consistently. I get the final four run w/Lydon, Richardson etc.  Kind of a perfect storm that went in our favor.  Otherwise we have been really rather disappointing program for the past 5 - 6 years.  The game has changed with the 3 point shot.  We are an average mid major program of late (maybe it will change next year) and we will see if that changes. Please don't tell me our defense was good today because we only gave up 51 points, ND would have torched us with Farrell & Colson. Much of the low scoring has to do with pace of play.  JB used to say this about Princeton years ago.
