This team is poorly constructed with very limited talent, yet, the Syracuse fan base wants to blame coaching as if a better coach could get this motley crew to perform better. We targeted better players in the transfer portal, but they chose other schools. Yes, the coach is responsible for recruiting players, so, I will fault them for that aspect, but I also understand the limitations they had in securing all the players that they wanted was financial. At the end of the day, Men's basketball needs more talent and they will have another opportunity to get it right after this season with the incoming recruiting class plus some transfer portal guys.
