The season was dead and we were barely NIT bound. Literally on life support.

Now we're two wins away from a ten win conference record and a probable trip to the big dance. Let's not get too worked up here about a game that honestly, we don't usually win when we're having a good to great season.

Winning at the Pete is always hard for us. Step off the ledge.

Let's Go Orange!!

This is not a good Pitt team, and we played an awful game, if we want to be taken serious we needed to win today.

You know what all bubble teams do? Lose some games. We aren't alone with that. Frustrating loss but it happens. I'm more annoyed we had some many chances late but bumbled passes every where

Actually we're 2 wins away from 10 conference wins

As frustrating as it was, one month ago when we got down 10, we would have allowed the lead to balloon to 20. It is still remarkable that we are in a position to debate our chances.

Still has the same players that have owned SU
Yep. Pitt is obviously better than their record but their problem this year is a new coach trying to implement his system to a group full of kids that he didn't recruit (except Jeter lol). And their lack of depth.

But your point is 100% right - Artis, Young and Cam Johnson all have been successful against the zone and know what they're doing. They don't need Dixon to tell them anymore. Obviously Dixon can make adjustments better than Stallings, but the players have an idea of what they're doing.

Outside of that like 30-2 run - Pitt has outplayed us this year. So I'd say of the 80 minutes we've played, we've lost about 70 of them.

No idea what the committee is thinking obviously but I think our terrible record away from home will hurt us. This was a winnable road game that should have helped our resume not look so bad.
