One Month

Today is 8/1. We begin on 9/1.
Turn that 8 up a notch and let's get year 2 started! With camp started we can finally shift our conversation to depth charts and X's/O's. I'm tired of talking about Tucker, Dome reno, etc. Here's hoping the defensive line can find a way to get past the shelling it took this offseason. I know there's a lot of Devito fans out there but I like what I saw from Rex in the spring game and hoping to see him overtake Mahoney for the #2 in camp. That's not a knock on Guttenburg, he has played well for us in the past and earned his scholly, but I feel like he's a good fill in the gaps guy, not someone ready to lead this team to a bowl victory. Dino says his guys get it in year 2, need to see a few 50+ point games in our favor(no more 28-0 UL blowouts after 5 min), I'm not expecting a 10-2 season, but definitely want to see this system start running like a machine, not my old '88 K-car. Can't wait to try my new SU cornhole set, orange cooler, and orange table come 9/1 either... Happy football season folks!

I'm always so antsy for August to end. I've already been to the beach and pool enough times this summer. Just get me to football season.

Pretty nice. My vacation starts in a week. Still haven't been in a pool yet. But I definitely plan to in about 7 days. I love Summer, and don't want the season to end but also can never ever, ever wait for Syracuse football to start. I've been a glutton for punishment the last 15 years and still haven't learned my lesson. Maybe one day I will-- or maybe one day this program gets going. But glad football eases us into the fall.

Where did you order your SU cornhole set?

Sorry it was a b-day gift so I'm not sure, mine's 7/29, and I just got the new table, cooler, and cornhole set, i'm definitely fired up to use all my new stuff.

My wife had a local guy here in Iowa do mine. So, pretty sure if you can find anyone that makes them and give them a design they can do it.
