One of the funniest and quickest jokes I've ever heard

I love watching these old quiz shows on You-Tube. Johnny Carson was a panelist on To Tell The Truth on October 2, 1961, the year before he took over the Tonight Show. I'm referring to the second game, which begins 8:45. Johnny's joke comes at 12:28.


By the way, the first game is about who is related to Roger Maris. They describe how Roger has become the first player since Babe Ruth to hit 60 home runs. In fact, he'd hit #61 the previous day.

I love Johnny's sense of timing. The "Heh...heh... to give people some time to get it...the comeback to Bud Collyer "If we're going to have to wait for you..." and coming back to it with his final selection. All skills that he used throughout his 30 years on the Tonight Show.
