Last season we had some margin for error. Fran and crew could drop a game like Stanford and still have a great season.
With the schedule this year we really need to take care of business against teams we can beat or that are peer programs, especially teams that we play at home.
I know the bowls don't matter (I still think they do, a little bit) but having winning records does. UCONN will give us a good game but that's one that when the game clock hits zero we should be on the right side of. I'm looking forward to seeing a football team that's prepared to win.
We've got a tomato can after that, then Clemson, which both seem to have a predictable result, then things start to get more interesting.
