there are some spots of Louisiana where I can't understand what they are saying
personal hygiene isn't really a problem down here, just people speaking a completely different languageIn fairness, I went to the Great New York State Fair this year, and I guarantee our rednecks can compete with your rednecks in terms of lack of personal hygiene.
The people that magically come out of the woodwork and into the State Fair are not from Syracuse. Im convinced those people live in the hills of pennsylvania..those hills have eyes.In fairness, I went to the Great New York State Fair this year, and I guarantee our rednecks can compete with your rednecks in terms of lack of personal hygiene.

No understand that. I have friends from Looziana. But "southern" is a dialect also.
someone should make a documentary about upstate NY fireman's carnivals. i'd call it Beer Tent. the creatures that come out for the Stafford Fireman's Carnival are unbelievable. The people that magically come out of the woodwork and into the State Fair are not from Syracuse. When I first moved to VA, we moved to a small town called Abingdon right on the Tenn border for about 2 years. When some folks spoke down there, it sounded like bangos playing. lol
