Admittedly, I'm a little slow on the uptake, but just now I counted out my tickets and realized there are only 20 home games, and 2 are exhibition. I am missing the first exhibition because I will be in North Carolina, and I'm missing 2 more at Christmas because I'll be in Atlanta.

That means I will only be at 17 games! November, in particular, is very sparse. I love the non-conference games because usually there are so many of them and almost always they are at the Dome. I blame Maui. And I blame all stupid bball writers who constantly complain that we never play away from the Dome during the off season. Well, so what? Who says you're the boss of us?

Okay, it's off my chest. But I am pretty sure that this year, although the schedule is fantastic, there are not as many games at home.

We generally play a few pre-confernece games in a tourney somewhere (MSG, Atlantic City, Kansas City, etc). I think the difference this year is the SJU game at MSG .. and the fact that Maui is three games, rather than the typical two.

Yes, we used to have the Carrier Classic and we would play two games a day apart. I just remember it seemed that I used to walk to the Dome in November quite a bit. I loved it, and still do!

I guess I can tolerate the idea of 3 games in Maui with my HD TV.

20 feels pretty normal to me.

For the previous 4 years we had 21 home games including exhibitions. This we year we are one short.

Funny. I had just pulled up the schedule to look at potential game watch dates. Then I come here, and see others are doing something similar. Next week can't come soon enough, lol. This schedule works very well for west coast game viewing. We have more 9pm games on weekdays (sorry probably not good for most of you) which translates to "after work" for us, and lots of weekend games that are not at noon which translates to "Sports bars will actually be open" for us. You are all welcome to come for warm weather game viewing any time.

The old saying, Quality not quantity! This is the best home schedule in some time...Enjoy the games. I'll only be at 3 (but wish I could be at 17)...LGO

I MUST believe you. Thank you for looking that up! And yet . . . and yet . . .

This is the perfect example of reality being subjective. Perhaps I'm being thrown for a loop because for the first time in who knows how long, I am missing the first game of the season.

Linda, I am so glad for you and the other West Coasters that game times are more user friendly!

I was a little disappointed when I first realized we had one less home game this year...Then I saw the Duke, UNC and Indiana tickets.

There are far less creampuffs on this years schedule...thanks in part to scheduling a couple old Big East teams.

This is gonna be a fun winter.
