Onto 2015

It was a typically frustrating Saturday afternoon, but I'm slightly refreshed for 2015.

I think that Hunt is definitely the best option at QB. I have painfully vivid memories of Hunt air-mailing several passes this year prior to his injury but I think he's going to be the offensive weapon in 2015 that he was supposed to be this year. I don't expect him to suddenly become a top-flight passer but, just for the record, he's miles ahead of Long. He's hundreds of miles ahead of Kimble and Wilson.

On the downside, I think Shafer desperately needs an OC who knows what he's doing.
For him to lean on Lester, a guy who didn't seem to show competence in coaching QB's this year, is insanely risky.
I'm really aiming for the heavens in expecting competence, of course.

It's got to get better than this year at least.

Just typing that I was refreshed, new offense, THunt back, we better be bowling
The worst part of the look ahead is how is 2015 going to be better? Maybe we got some younger guys experience but the talent is still subpar, the schedule is a meat grinder and the coaches appear to be clueless still. So how is next year going to be anything other than the same ol thing?

looking for 6 wins not 10-2, it's doable wouldn't count us out from doing that

we get 3 easier should be wins instead of 2 should be wins with 1 coin flip and 1 loss. pitt and BC at home with wake ,nc state and Virginia are winnable

After this season, I'm back to my GRob era definition of winnable.

Having someone at home means nothing to me after this gate locking fiasco of a home season.

URI, CMU, Wake, @USF. That's all I feel comfortable with at the moment.

Would be more wins than this year.

Progress!

I was probably one of the biggest Hunt supporters around, but do you recall how he played this season? People were trying to bench him before he got hurt. Now he's back to the savior?

God bless you if you can already be positive and looking forward to next year. I'm going to need at least 2 or 3 months before I am convincing myself we can win 9.
