Seven of Syracuse's 11 home games will be televised in 2016. Time Warner Cable SportsChannel will broadcast four contests from the Carrier Dome, while ESPN3 will air three.
The first telecast will take place on Sunday, February 28 when the third-ranked Orange host No. 5 Northwestern at 12 p.m. on ESPN3. Two other games will appear on ESPN3, including the Saturday, March 12 contest at 12 p.m. against Maryland, which is a rematch of the 2015 NCAA semifinal game. The final ESPN3 broadcast takes place on Saturday, April 16 at 12 p.m. when the Orange meet No. 2 North Carolina at home. The last meeting between the two squads was in the finals of last year's ACC Tournament, which Syracuse won in double overtime.
Time Warner Cable SportsChannel will broadcast four home games this season for the Orange. The first will be the matchup against No. 7 Florida on Tuesday, March 1 at 12 p.m., followed by a game against Connecticut on Tuesday, March 29 at 6 p.m. Time Warner Cable SportsChannel will also televise Syracuse's ACC contests against Duke on Sunday, April 3 at 12 p.m., and its regular-season finale against Louisville on Saturday, April 23 at 12 p.m.
Syracuse opens its season on Sunday, February 14 when it hosts No. 13 Loyola (Md.) at noon and Binghamton at 7:30 p.m.
