I came by here last year looking for info on Coach Bullough and Coach Lea when my Texas Aggies were in need of a new DC. I became an Orange fan a couple of years ago when your team came to Houston for their bowl game. I know you guys had a tough year last year and it sucks you lost your qb, but I'm hoping you guys and CSS get it turned around this year.

Good luck and on Sept 26, Beat The Hell Outta LSU!

Haha, well fortunately we don't need any coaches just yet. BUT, I know good coaches and the 2 I mentioned I believe are very good. We did try to help you guys out a little by taking a WR coach from VT and we were close to taking their DC but we got Chavis from LSU.

So fill me in on the Orange a little bit. Improvement this year? Or losing Hunt going to be to much to overcome? Man, I hate that for that kid. With everyone that leaves early for the draft, I never like to see an injury that ruins a sr. season for those that stay or don't have the opportunity to leave.

We're in wait and see mode. Dungey (FR qb) looked very good in preseason and was going to get some burn whether Hunt was healthy or not. Your Aggies certainly helped set a precedent that one can hope for more than just serviceable for a Frosh qb. We're much healthier overall despite the loss of Hunt but some of our bigger expected contributors are already nursing injuries from camp or week 1. Defense is young but, with the help of the coaches mentioned, we usually don't skip a beat on that side of the ball. Looked great week 1 but admittedly playing an opponent that some of your local HS teams (presuming you're from TX) might run.

Offense is still waiting for play makers to step up. I feel like we have some, albeit younger guys, but this week will be more telling with them playing a good defense. I expect a bowl game this year even without Hunt but tough to gauge much until after our game Saturday.

I like you. You're good.

Okay, now give us your thoughts on your first few years in the SEC.

Okay, now give us your thoughts on your first few years in the SEC.

The move to the SEC has proven to be the absolute best thing that has happened to A&M athletics. The amount of money that has been poured into to the Aggie program borders on absurd, damn near embarrassing. Sumlin coming in and stumbling onto this slight little no name qb that came to be known as JFF around Aggieland was a stroke of good fortune nobody could have ever seen coming.

Everyone around here thinks that if John Chavis can do anything close to what he did in Baton Rouge, coupled with Sumlins offense, we may contend for an SEC West Title. The biggest sunshine pumpers think as early as this year. I tend to think realistically, our defense and our young QB's probably need a year to mature.

You guys keep ahold of the rope and don't give up. I think Clemson is taking a step back this year. FSU is bound to have someone or 3 in the penn by the end of the year. VT, is in big trouble without Brewer. BC, I have no clue. There are some very good teams in the ACC however and it won't be easy. But when I do get to watch the Orange, I'll be hollering for you guys and have intention to make a game there someday. Full disclosure, I'm hoping it will not be in the Carrier Dome though, football should be played outside on grass! I love upstate NY.

Btw, here's hoping the NY Football Giants kicked the dog snot out of Arkansas Jerruh's team Sunday night.

Oh man a new cuse fan and also a Giants fan and Cowboys hater, did we just become best friends?!

Wanna go do karate in the garage!?
