Kudos to Oronde for his hard work and perseverance. He worked for this opportunity and we got to watch. He was Mr. Clutch for SU and though he's not as fast as some, he's a great pass catcher and won multiple games for us. Thanks for sticking it out with us and best wishes. You were DART before it was a thing. Congratulations!!
 
Its certainly a good sign that he'll likely stick on the roster when a team trades up to pick you.

Side note: how do players have a hat for the team that choses them sitting right there to put on right after being drafted? Does the player buy a hat for every team? Does the league provide them with one for every team if they are expected to be drafted?

I think a lot of them buy every hat is my assumption
 
Chargers have a pretty good history with tight ends. Good spot for OG. Check out the picks involved to make this happen… OG for Kyle.

It’s really cool to see that video because with the little bit of coverage ESPN showed of the Chargers’ war room during the pick, you could tell Harbaugh was stoked! Now we know they were REALLY stoked! OG is in the house!

The league/New Era provide the hats to potential draft picks. I don't think they go to everyone, but at the very least to the ones that are expected to make air. I'm not sure if there is an expectation that they will be returned after, or if it's just a gift at that point.

After the draft the remaining unused hats are shipped to Mel Kiper along with 20lbs of Columbian coffee and lots of tissues.
