I just saw he was a productive WR at U of Richmond who got injured in third game of his Senior year and is going to UVA as a grad transfer after getting the 4th year back. I guess I’m surprised that SU didn’t offer him, if to only keep OB more connected.

You think Dino would spend one of his limited number of scholarships on a mediocre WR to help Boeheim convince Brissett to come back for another year?

When you have 21 to give each year and plenty of 2 stars on the roster, yeah I think it might be considered. And his numbers were not really ‘mediocre’. He played 3 games and had 16 catches for 299 yards.

Totally fair point. I am enjoying the SU football renaissance. My daughter is an SU alum, and I am a UVA alum. So i have dual allegiances ( but when push comes to shove , I’m a Hoo). And I watched Tommy DeVito in HS here in NJ and think he’s a big-time talent. I want to see the Orange challenge Clemson in that division. It’s a tough challenge to be in same bracket as Clemson and ( dormant, but not for long) FSU.
I just got a kick out of OB’s brother, who I was not aware of, being a Graduate transfer, and ending up in C’Ville.
I do wish there were more UVa -SU matchups on the football calendar. Every 6 years kinda sucks for me. ... and UVA football is not as bad as everyone on here thinks. Mendenhall is pretty legit

wr is probably the least of our needs. we go 7-8 deep of good talent. now if he played ol or dl, we could talk.
