Anyone else there tonight? Was one of the scariest things I've ever seen at the track with that wreck/fire in turn one. Thankfully it appears the driver had non-life threatening injuries.

They touched tires coming into the first turn and he got shot directly up into the wall. As soon as he made impact the flames engulfed the car like it was out of a movie. Rescue crews got there and sprayed the car down as one of the rescue crew helped pull the driver from the car. The update from the speedway said the injuries weren’t life threatening but I’d imagine he’s got some burn issues. The whole place went silent for 5-10 minutes but the driver gave a wave before loading into the ambulance.
