Been really busy since Saturday, but curious if any other posters are fans of the track? I've been going up since I was young as my uncle used to drive supermodifieds. It's a really cool track and provides a ton of action. Opening night on Saturday was crazy, as two track records were set, including a super reeling off a 16.081 second lap. This is an average speed of 140 mph on a 5/8 mile track, which is pretty incredible.

I never made it to Oswego. It was always dirt track for this guy. Chemung is the only asphalt track I think I've been to, and it was awesome.

Ever heard of Gene Sharpsteen? He's my cousins uncle, and a big time dirt and asphalt racer. I'm sure you watched him tear up Oswego back in the day. The 7 (sometimes 7up) car

I used to go all the time. Haven't seen a race there since I moved in 94'.

Dont know how far you go back but my best friend in High School was Brian herb's son. Those were in the Doug Hevron days. How could you not have fun where they let you bring in coolers of beer.
