The best part was that his teammates aren’t just going through the motions cheering. They were absolutely beside themselves euphoric about it.

I was so taken with this that when I found myself in Rochester, I went to the Wegmans where he worked to try and get his autograph!

Some may consider what I'm about to say as rude, but that's not my intention at all. A little bit of credit should be given to the opponent here also. After Jason made his first couple shots, they could have said "OK that's enough, we're going to lock him down." But they didn't do that. They gave him just enough space to get his shots off, which helped him have his once in a lifetime moment. Don't get me wrong, Jason made those shots. But I really respect the kids on the other team for being cool about it and having emotional intelligence.

In one of the update videos on Facebook there was a person crying about JMac flipping off the Fairport fans during the playoffs that year.

I guess I'm mad at the shot, but not really at Keith Smart. Probably more mad we let him go coast to coast in like four seconds after Triche missed the back end of a one and one that would have put us up four. Then the foul on Derrick and everything after.
