Just terrible, and heartbreaking when this happens. Any clinical details (glioblastoma, astrocytoma, what chemo / radiation, etc.)? There are some very promising trials ongoing with immunotherapies (essentially "vaccines") against GBM. I'd have to check the trial enrollment (oftentimes a minimum age of 18) details but two companies in particular (ImmunoCellular (NASDAQ: IMUC) and Northwest BioTherapeutics (NASDAQ: NWBO) have promising results with their immuno Tx's - something like 50% of patients still alive 5 years out and most with no tumor progression.

As you may know traditional chemos (e.g. temozolomide) don't work well and "cancer vaccines" are the coming thing.

In any event, my best wishes to the family and of course the youngster who's fighting. I'll PM you as well.
