We can see Mt. Washington from our cabin in Maine. I will send my family this chilly article!

My son is in Durham and it’s not quite that cold.

But I was awful pleased when he told me he was going to a party last night in his actual dorm and not roaming the town.

Went there 2 years ago in the off-season. Unfortunately the summit was still closed do to winter. It was late March. 3 climate/wind zones meet at the top of the summit which creates crazy environmental weather events.

Let’s get one thing straight
Wind chill is bs. What’s the raw temp ?

Alaska says hello, with a balmy -105 wind chill.

It's BS unless you're concerned with how fast the heat will be removed from your body.
That's a pretty important factor if you're outside.
