OT: Bob Ley and Southside

Sat next to ESPN's Bob Ley at at Southside Johnny (and the Poor Fools) concert last night in Old Saybrook, Connecticut. Great show, BTW. No horns, if you're a Jukes fan. But it was very good despite that.

Chatted briefly with Ley after the show (he's apparently a Southside fan because he was looking up dates for future shows on the Southside website via his iphone during show). On the Penn State situation, Ley said, "Just horrific, and we'll probalby never know the real story."

Much material there, I imagine, for future Outside the Lines programs.

The sad thing is, he's probably right. We may never know the whole story. As long as we know enough of it to incarcerate everyone who was complicit and covered it up. I can live with that as long as justice is served.
