i feel so bad over how manute bol died. didn't know anything about stevens johnson syndrome at the time but I learned about it the hard way later. i got a mild case of it (relatively speaking) probably from the same allergic reaction to the same drug (some sulfa antibiotic like bactrim) and it was the worst experience of my life. bol died in utter agony.

Horrible. Sorry you had to go through that (Bol too of course) sounds absolutely horrific. I'm allergic to sulfa drugs, luckily finding out in my 20's when I thought my face was burning up from just one dose. A man doing such good to die so young and so tortured is so sad.

6'10 as a freshman is ridiculous. He can team up with fellow freshman Shareef O'Neal, who is 6'7, to make a dominating front court for their age.
