ha ha ha, yah I hear ya...I have to choose between my Orange love or belief in a former teammate and someone I know...hafta go with Rashad...even though I am not really all that confident. Just hoping for a good fight. If he was fighting anyone but Jones I would agree with you my orange color glasses are on and my opinion will not change
You are right about that...that was one thing that a lot of people questioned...that was his chin...cuz no one had done that. But, Machida was winning that fight until Jones choked him out. Will be interesting to see what Rashad's game plan is. He is very confident saying that he used to own Jon when they were at the same training camp...but that was a long time ago and Jon had gotten a ton more experience since then.I think that Jones getting tagged really good a few times by Machitta only makes me believe in him more in this Evans fight. Before that I wasn't sure how he would react to getting hit hard which Evans will undoubtedly be able to do at least some. I see know way Evans can out point Jones nor does he want to be on the ground with Jones IMO. To me Evans would need to stop Jones with striking and I have a hard time seeing that happen.
I really wish Silva would go up to light heavey weight to fight Jones. That would be a great fight stylistically and both guys could give each other problems that they hardly ever face.
you guys are crazy. First off Rashad looked great his last fight. He had a 4 week training camp instead of the normal 8 and he fought hard and stayed busy all 5 rounds...his first 5 rounds ever. He completely outclassed the #7 ranked LHW, who is undefeated and has a very bright future in MMA. He will be more prepared the next time. His boxing looked great and he out wrestled arguably the best wrestler in MMA.
as far as the backing out due to injuries...it was Bones who backed out due to a hand injury that needed "surgery"...as soon as they booked Rashad another fight...Jon's hand was fine and he set up another fight. And yes I know that Rashad also got injured later when they were supposed to fight. But Jones's incident was very suspicious.
I know Rashad and thats why I am getting a little defensive here...but I am also a realist. Jones looks like an unstoppable force right now. And the odds are certainly not in Rashad's favor. I believe he is a 5 or 6 to 1 dog in this. But I think that people are definitely underestimating him and this could be a much better fight than people think. At least I hope so!!!
You are right...he had a horrible game plan agaist Lloyto. At that time no one had him figured out. But to say that you are surprised he is brave enough to get into the Octagon is just plain asinine. Machida is his only loss compared to what 18 wins? It is his job to beat people up. Being scared is not an option. He has been in there with Rampage, Chuck Liddel...the best guys. He is not afraid of Jon Jones. Win Lose or Draw...he aint scaredRashad had nothing against Lyoto and looks to have less against Jones - I'm surprised the Rashad is brave enough to get in the oct with Jones

I guess thats why they have the fights then dont they. Anything can happen. Like I said Rashad is a huge underdog...I get it. But I still think he can do it. He has a ton of experience and the tools to beat Jones. But...April 21st we will know if I am just a homer or if he really can.You are right, but did you see what Jones did to Rampage and Rua? Brutal, brutal beat downs and Jones didn't have a mark on him.

Screw that. Silva is going down to the man from the bad streets of West Linn, Oregon. The American Gangster. Chael P. Sonnen.
I'm already giddy for the pressers. He legit might get attacked by a mob in Brazil.
