Guy was a pothead in college, kicked out of Baylor, never played for Utah.

Already had one violation that led to a two-game ban last season.

ESPN reports that Gordon has failed another drug test, this time for weed, and could face a one-year ban. Second violation.

IMO, it's time for the NFL to remove the penalty for weed (not other drugs, although I don't think taking things like Adderall are really 'performance-enhancing'). If players want to jeopardize their health and performance by damaging their lungs (and whatever else weed damages, if anything), they should be allowed to. Especially since it apparently is on the way to legalization. I know, it's still technically illegal in most places. But how many players have drunk themselves out of the league? Just sayin'...

Have you ever tried adderall?

While I agree with you, there's a difference between casual users and potheads. This guy couldn't stay off the stuff long enough to pass a drug test in college, and has now failed two in the pros. If you need it that much, you're dependent on it.

That distinction isn't made for alcoholics.

Hey, I support legalizing weed. To say that pot has informed, among other things, my musical tastes and my late night visits to the Dingle Man, would be an understatement. But, the inability of an elite athlete to even take a break in order to pass a drug test tells me it's a dependency, not just a harmless casual pastime.

BTW, I could use a Cheese Jaw right about now...

Which If you think about it. MAYBE and I say maybe, he is addicted to pot. But again apparently it is impossible!

I dunno. There are people in the little town where I live who smoke weed and try to eke out meager livings doing odd jobs. Several, in fact. Lotsa weed in my town.

Not that there's anything wrong with that...

A lot of teams have to be glad they didn't trade for him this off-season.

Guy is just an idiot. That's all that needs to be said.

However, at least he isn't driving drunk or murdering people. The positives I guess??

Have you?
yes. legally, and not even for add. it is a mix of two amphetamines. at prescription levels it is more powerful than any other legal stimulant. it can create intense focus, motivation and also increase strength. and beyond prescription levels it will have even more of an enhancing effect, but probably only to a point and then negative effects would set in

If you're a Browns fan ... you picked the wrong day to quit sniffing glue...

THIS JUST IN: Browns WR Nate Burleson fractures left arm in minicamp last wk. Not a good day for Cleveland receivers. (via @MortReport)

Two steps forward...

One big step back.

They continued to pass on WRs too yesterday. Unbelievable. Though that RB from Towson looks to be a stud.
