OT: Bwa-ha-ha Johnny Manziel

He's the Marshall Henderson of college football.

Unfortunately he seems to be able to back himself up. You can talk it if you can walk it.

I think you're all crazy. He might be the best college qb of all time and he's wildly entertaining

I think that Winston fella out at FSU may be challenging that claim, before either kid is finished with their sophomore years.

Craziness

Ryan Leaf, Part II...

Not even close. Leaf had the size, strength and appeared to have all of the tangibles to be a great quarterback. He would have been a top 5 draft pick in any draft. Manziel is a great college quarterback, but he will not grade out like Leaf did. That being said, all it takes in one team to pull the trigger early.

I hope after A&M's second loss this will be the last we hear of Johnny for the remainder of the season. Living in Houston, TX, all I hear about is that goof ball. Tired of it.

So disagree with the OP. Johnny Football is entertaining as hell! Love watching that kid play!

I think he is an azzhat but he is talented football player. Not rooting for him to succeed but also not rooting for him to fail. We shall see what the future brings.

Flash. In the. Pan.

He'll get lit up in the NFL. His attitude will lose him respect wherever he goes.

What I would give to have him in a Syracuse uniform...

Also, for those of you recruitniks who think stars are everything - on ESPN he was a 78 grade coming out of high school.

The kid from FL that just committed tonight to SU is 81. Get ready for a fun next couple years!

Not me. Kid is insufferable.

Reminds me of all those Houston Q.B'S who had the great numbers in college

I work with hundreds of maniacal A&M fans and alums. I have never met a Johnny Football fan yet. All of them are very uneasy about the kid and some downright dislike him and don't want him representing their school.

I'm hoping Pryor keeps improving so that the Raiders don't feel the need to reach on a QB drafting in the 4-10 spot next spring.

Anybody else find that it's kind of interesting that the SEC was known for defense and 2 teams from the Big 12 (known for offense) come in and their offenses are scoring? Maybe it wasn't that the SEC was that awesome but that the offenses were focusing on ball control and their qb's were sub par. Love seeing those old Big 12 teams doing well in conference.
