OT: Checking out some below the radar players...

Here's another one for you, to help increase your basketball knowledge: http://.com/below-the-radar-alan-williams/

I might recommend Larry Nance Jr from Wyoming. Wyoming isn't as under the radar as some other schools, but not sure everyone has seen him play. That guy is quite the athlete and a really solid player. He blew out his ACL last year and has recovered quite nicely. He can put on quite a dunking exhibition.

If he jumps even half as high as his dad, he must be fun to watch.

I know Sterling is working on a couple ideas right now, so I'm looking forward to reading them.

Larry Jr does indeed have some hops. There is a selection on youtube but here is one from a game this year. He looks like he has recovered from that ACL injury to me! My mom went to Wyoming so I try to give her school some love when I can :)

Just did a new below the radar for Otto's Grove. This time I covered two guys who I have known personally for years so it was very cool to be able to write an article about them. http://.com/below-the-radar-brett-comer-and-bernard-thompson/ Hopefully they can add to their story before it is all said and done.

Favorite under the radar player - with the best name in all of college hoops: 6'0" senior guard Isiah Umipig.
THE player on Seattle University in the WAC
Averaging 17.3 a game...
44% from the field overall and 45.3% from 3.
80-plus% at the line.

As the chant goes, "Ima pig...Yura pig...Uma Pig!"

I'll look into both him and the Wyoming kid that was mentioned earlier. I'm going heavily into writing mode tonight, so hopefully I can get some stuff ready to go sooner rather than later.

Switching things up a bit - looking at a below the radar team that could cause some trouble the first weekend of March Madness: http://.com/below-the-radar-north-carolina-central/

With the NCAA drawing near I figured it might be more fitting to look at possible Cinderellas in this year's field.

Another look around the nation, this time a little postseason primer highlighting the parity in the Big South: http://.com/postseason-primer-big-parity-in-the-big-south/

Watching Sykes dunk makes me miss Stevie Thompson.
