One of the best games I've ever attended live was when we beat North Carolina to advance to the final four in 1987.

I've never been a UNC / Dean Smith fan, but they are a lot easier for me to root for than most other premiere programs. Sorry to hear that he's struggling with these difficulties. Dementia in any form is a terrible affliction.

I was there for that one too and one of the fun parts for me was sitting behind a group of UNC fans who couldn't accept the fact that they were losing to an upstart Orange team.
I actually felt going into that tournament that UNC was the best team in the tournament.
