As the Internet Age permeates all facets of society, the art of decoupling will take on a new and less litigious method and divorce will simply be announced on Twitter:
Ben Kramer would like to announce that, after talking to my God and that cute little bartender Bunny of The Alibi Hideaway, I've decided to decommit from my current habitation situation and open my recruitment to all P5 women. I want to thank Mrs. Kramer for years of dedicated service and the 4 children she bore me, whatever their names may be - I've left something nice for you on the dresser.
I now realize God has a plan for me and so does Bunny. Shout out to my probation officer for all his support.
