A couple of differences.
Farokhmanesh's shot moved the score from +1 to +4. (Smart's) shot moved the score from -1 to +1.
Kansas lost in the Round of 32. SU in the championship game.

Ahh 2010. I remember going nuts when kansas went down, I thought they were the only team close to us that year. Cuse kansas and kentucky were by far the 3 best teams that year. But the good ole duke boys somehow steal our 1 seed, get another cakewalk to f4, we get shipped out west even though we dominated the big east, and duke somehow cuts down the nets without having to play cuse Kansas or kentucky.

I hate duke.

I don't know but he seems amiable enough with game reporters. You are correct Memphis missing FT's and getting him a NC at KU early in his tenure has really carried him. I haven't heard of any displeasure from the fan bass or school with Self but I also pay very little attention to Big12 anything except the key bball conference games.

IIRC there was some doubt as to whether we'd even get a one seed after Onuaku went down.
