So I went to the Tennessee / Florida game this past weekend and had an amazing time. Been perusing the Vol Nation board the past couple days as well. I saw this post re: film study of the Vols victory. This guy does an amazing job showing how and why certain plays were called and links videos from the game to see the play that he is referencing. It is perfect for me being a hockey player and not understanding all the different football concepts.
Anyone do anything like this for Syracuse? That would be something!

Vols Film Room: How Dobbs Led the Vols to Victory - FOX Sports Radio Knoxville

I think Poliquin did something like this last season. The theme was why SU should drop football.

yeah. but ours last week would just be the same play over and over.. Towa runs streak and uconn safety forgets to back pedal.

Take a look at TD #4 - Dobbs to malone on there. Stacked receivers on double slants. Seems like a great play in key situations. I never really paid close attention...do we run something similar? I know we run a lot of stacked formations.

we ran a ton of plays sat where we ran the slot guy right at the safety forcing him off the outside help. but as to why Uconn ran single high so often who knows. UV ran much of what we do. and if you watched that you could see Uconn struggled with it. The difference was UV tried to run it short all game and finally Uconn rolled the Lb into the short areas and took those away.. we kept taking the deep shots. It shows you what can happen in this offense if you have 2 deep threats like BG had last year. we have have the slot guys.
