Per their official website, Florida will host Charleston Southern and Idaho in 2018. Both FCS schools since Idaho is dropping down.

My guess is the Idaho contract was signed before Idaho decided to drop down. Wonder if Florida will buy them out of the contract.

Last year a storm forced the Idaho-Florida game to be cancelled, so this is probably the makeup. But you'd think they wouldn't move it to a year where they already have an FCS game scheduled.

The way Florida has played the last couple of years, having to win 7 games instead of 6 might be a tall ask.

VT opened the season on a neutral site against WVU. They have played USC, Alabama, etc...Rutgers is a joke.

VT's schedules have been much different in the last few years compared to the 1990's and 2000's. They used to feast on kittens and the BE bottom feeders for a guaranteed 9-10 wins a year.

You are correct. Idaho was FBS when they signed on to play them. Idaho smartly decided to drop down and rejoin the Big Sky Conference on the FCS level. That being said, Florida should be forced to drop one of them and find a FBS school to replace them. But even if they do stick to the schedule, only one game will count towards a possible playoff or major bowl spot so they would be wise to change their schedule.

We are playing in Baton Rouge Sat, its great that you played a home and home with Wash, outside of that your schedule has been cupcake central the past 10 plus years.
