They've been working on this for a while. Very cool! I wonder if they've both slipped just enough to be willing to give up a home game for this.

No they aren't in the top-10 rankings, but They didn't "slip" when it comes to attendance. Both programs still draw gangbusters.

And frankly, The speedway doesn't do this if they don't feel it's gonna be a major EVENT.

Not sure why so many on here still think that moving games to interesting venues (Yankee Stadium, Met Life, and now Bristol Speedway) is a sign of slipping or weakness.

Tons of big time programs play games at neutral sites every year .

Geez, Notre Dame played Arizona State in Dallas' "Jerry World" last Saturday.

They were in the National Title game just last year so it can't be because they're "slipping""," can it?

Alabama played V-Tech in Atlanta to start the season... Is Alabama slipping?

Can't you guys just accept that neutral site games are a real thing?

They're not going away and IMO, I think it's great that SU gets the added exposure from these match ups.

Playing at neutral sites is very cool, playing home and home where your really playing what amounts to two road games like were doing is not.

Great neutral site game and around 2 hours from each school. This will definitely meet the attendance goals.

Settle down! I love the idea. My only point is that this has been on the table for upwards of ten years and only now is getting done. Simply hypothesizing as to what's different.
