No they aren't in the top-10 rankings, but They didn't "slip" when it comes to attendance. Both programs still draw gangbusters.
And frankly, The speedway doesn't do this if they don't feel it's gonna be a major EVENT.
Not sure why so many on here still think that moving games to interesting venues (Yankee Stadium, Met Life, and now Bristol Speedway) is a sign of slipping or weakness.
Tons of big time programs play games at neutral sites every year .
Geez, Notre Dame played Arizona State in Dallas' "Jerry World" last Saturday.
They were in the National Title game just last year so it can't be because they're "slipping""," can it?
Alabama played V-Tech in Atlanta to start the season... Is Alabama slipping?
Can't you guys just accept that neutral site games are a real thing?
They're not going away and IMO, I think it's great that SU gets the added exposure from these match ups.
