OT- Friday Night

On Friday night, I'm going to be at a rehersal dinner at a Scranton-area bar and grill called "Happy Valley." I just realized I need to wear the orange-est dress shirt I own.
Good old Dickson City! My BIL and his GF were there for the Pedo State game on Sat (Happy Valley…hint, hint.) Nice venue, decent bar food.
Just be careful after you exit I-81…the potholes are numerous and horrendous in NEPA…no joke.

The bride went to law school at PSU, so I know what I'm getting myself into. She also told me that she's glad they're playing Ball State this weekend - her guest list would be much smaller if the Auburn game was this weekend.

So I will try to be on my best behavior.

A couple years ago I attended a wedding in the Scranton area. It was the year we almost beat Clemson at Clemson, if it wasn’t for that lame illegal man downfield call.

If I remember correctly, Penn State was playing Ohio State. Everyone during the reception was glued to their phone watching the Penn State game. Felt bad for the bride and groom to be honest

When I got married we intentionally chose the weekend between the Conference Championships games and the Super Bowl so everyone could enjoy the wedding without a distraction.

Almost 22 years later, still going strong. It's been the best twelve years of my life.
