Hurricane Helene left us without electricity, water, and internet, which made it very difficult to remain in Asheville. Our daughter Julie and her husband Kurt took very good care of us in Washington, DC. We also got to enjoy their company and hang out with our grandson Sam. We are getting the hang of it, but old water habits are hard to break. Luckily, bottled water is readily available and free or cheap.
