Indeed. I was gonna post the same thing. I wish him well, and hope he shines enough to get on the practice squad at least or another opportunity elsewhere.

Nice to see. West had a very solid career, and he'll be harder to replace than some here seem to think.

I think his best chance is to shine in the first preseason games and latch on to another teams PS. The fact he made it to camp is awesome. Hopefully he showcases his ability to make contested catches along the sidelines like he did for us last year.

If he can make the Jets practice squad he might have a chance to get some playing time down the road. The rookie Devin Smith is already hurt and out a while. Marshall is older and was beaten up and played injured alot last year.

Ravens signed him to their practice squad last December, so I think he's in their camp this summer.

Good for West. I always like the kid and glad he is getting a shot. His injury may have slowed him a little and the QB situation failed to help his career. Though, he is on the wrong New York team, I wish him well.

West signed with Pittsburgh this morning after they cut Taj Boyd. At first I figured it was the Stillers giving a home grown kid a shot, but then i realized West is from the Philly side of the state. Hope this look lasts longer than the last with the Jets.
