What a sad day. He and Steve Nash were my role models as far as playing basketball goes when I was growing up (obviously Kidd's off-the-court things were not a part of the role model I'm talking about lol). Nash is basically retired at this point since he isn't allowed to really play his game next to Kobe (and he's been hurt a ton this year anyways). I'm going to miss the two of them when they hang it up.
