You're not the only cynic. I was just listening to DFW's ESPN Radio in my car and they were talking about what a genius the PR person for Manziel is. He's been there since Wednesday, but they waited until the morning after the Super Bowl to announce it, so that it would be buried under the other headlines.

No reason to root against him, but this seems odd. For a kid who was seemingly put through the ringer as a draftee and then was under the watch of a pro football team, I find it hard that he developed an addiction post college. You're telling me the Browns would have let him take over the starting role knowing he had some issues.
