We really are somewhat spoiled here golf wise. I have several friends from different metro areas on the east coast. When they come to  visit they bring their clubs and descend upon this place like rabid dogs:rolling:. The prices, the number of places, and above all what they pay...they are just amazed. Even our not very pretty but serviceable "cow pastures"... they'd get charged 5x or more what we pay. I was born and raised in Selkirk N.Y. outside of Albany. When I go home and play  any capital district golf there's alittle bit of sticker shock in the sense that wherever go I'm thinking "sheeesh for this money back in cny I would be playing this caliber of course, or that one".  And when they come here, its " this place is great. Do you know what we'd be paying back home"? But all that aside. I think in the next few we are gonna see several courses go down the drain. Probably become housing tracts.:(
