They announced that both schools will combine to compete as one athletic program. Some sports will be based in Brooklyn and some on LI. If you go to school on one campus but play at the other, transportation will be provided. Sounds like a big clusterfug to me. Anyway the football program is upgrading to Division 1 FCS, so assuming they meet the scholarships requirements, it’s another team for SU to play and beat.
