They are playing Georgia Tech this week not Florida State. However, they are screwed royally this year but their young true freshman QB Rowe can probably get a medical redshirt and Edsall won't have wasted his whole year for nothing. They will get housed by both Florida State and Clemson, but they still have a shot at bowl with their 4 wins and they have lost to both UConn and Boston College this year.

I hope Edsall continues to lose there, could not happen to a nicer guy... He is about to receive two monumental beat downs versus FSU and Clemson, he's toast. UMD made a situation that needed some tweaking and turned into a trainwreck. I would hate to think what they could be doing with Fridge as the HC and Locksley recruiting for them, that would be scary

I'm no Edsall fan either but they would have had a major turnaround this season if not once in a lifetime bad luck at the QB position. People bashing Edsall aren't reading the initial post. They were winning games with a true freshman at QB.
