OT: Mayfest

Ha, I just wrapped up a paper and am seriously considering taking the afternoon off. Two weeks before law school graduation, this is the last time I can participate in Mayfest with any self-respect.

I'll be drinking today, and it'll be the good stuff. Enjoy drinking the cheap stuff.

you got PBR on the way home, too? ;)

<insert Rick Flair "WOOOOOO!">

It's just spelled a bit different on the bottle I have.

Nice. I'm actually going to a "Raise the Macallan" event here in Austin after I get off work. Still semi new to the scotch game, but I've had their 17... cant wait to try the 18.

A great Scotch is ALMOST better than good sex!

Block Party

It used to be called the block party

Nothing touches spring fest at UB.

Turned my buddy's dorm into a tiki bar, had loaded coronas, lokos, blue juice, captain and other festive drinks.

Started drinking around 11. Was done for the day and tired by like 4 and headed back to my room to watch the draft lol. Usually I probably would have stayed out longer, but allergies are kicking my ass. I sound like Doc Rivers trying to talk during a timeout right now.

Was a fun day though. Almost randomly gave CJ a hug when I saw him to thank him for coming back for a year lol.

My girlfriend got her picture taken with a bunch of the players. Said Southerland was the nicest guy and that MCW wasn't really speaking to any of the non-athletes that were asking for pictures and stuff (though he did take pictures with them, just apparently wasn't very friendly).

Sidenote: On the bus the other night, this girl wearing a #43 backpack was saying how basketball is making it hard for her and her boyfriend (I presume it was Southerland) to deal with their coming baby... anyone know anything about that?

Love the 18, it is quite an experience... The Glenmorangie 14 is probably my favorite for day to day drinking... Very light and smooth, very different from Macallen. Always have a bottle handy.

Yeah, everyone on this board whose wife has been pregnant during November-April.
